MATCH FORMAT FOR INDIVIDUAL COMPETITIONS

Entry Fee is £5 per player

MENS & WOMENS SINGLES = 4 bowls each player 21 shots

OPEN PAIRS = 4 bowls each player 18 ends or 3hr 30 min

OPEN TRIPLES = 3 bowls each player 18 ends or 3hr 30 min

EIBA Summer Competition Rules

With the exception of the below rules - please refer to the EIBA National Competitions 23/24 rules which are displayed on the EIBA Website.

Eligibility

Open Pairs and Triples Teams can comprise of Team Members who play winter National Competitions from nominated other clubs.

If the Player's club is closed they can still enter via their club and play their home matches at an alternative nominated club in their area.

Playing arrangements

• Winner of Each Group to proceed to the Inter-area stage 
• Last 8 –to qualify for EIBA National Summer Finals

Offering Dates

Games will have a play by date with the home team offering up to 3 dates days, One weekday evening, One weekday (during the day)  and one weekend date shall be offered. Ties at weekends shall not commence before 9.30am. Ties on weekday evenings shall be arranged to commence at a stipulated time between 6.00pm and 7.00pm other than by mutual agreement.

Reporting of Results

All results are to be inputted into the competitions portal by the winning player, within 48 hours of the match taking place.

EIBA Summer National Finals at Kempston Park over Friday 13th September to Sunday 15th September 2024 – exact schedule TBC.
